The Friends of Music is dedicated to the study, performance, and appreciation of music in the Lehigh Valley community for young people. The Gift to Schools grant program provides funds for projects (activities or purchases of materials) that further music education in private, public, and charter schools, grades K–12, in Lehigh and Northampton counties.

School teachers may request up to $1500. Grant applications are due by February 29, 2024. To participate, download the Grant application and complete per the application instructions. Decision will be announced in April 2024.

Awards distributed August 2024 for '24–'25 school year.
