Recital Date: April 14th, 2024 at 3:00pm
Location: West Side Moravian Church, 402 3rd Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18018

The Outstanding Young Artist competition is open to instrumental and vocal students through 12th Grade. Students must attend school in the Lehigh Valley. The audition video should demonstrate a range of technical skills, rhythmic ability, and virtuostic tone, in works from standard classical repertoire. First Place winner receives $800; Second Place receives $400. A Rising Star (a student who has been studying only a few years) may be recognized as a promising young artist and awarded $75. First and Second Place winners will perform a 15- to 20-minute recital to receive their monetary award. The Rising Star will perform one piece of music at the recital to receive their monetary award.
*Decision to select a First Place, Second Place, and/or Rising Star winner, is at the discretion of the judges.*

Recital will be held live at West Side Moravian Church in Bethlehem, PA and streamed on the Friends of Music Facebook Page. Recital is free and open to the public. Goodwill donations greatly appreciated. |
